The Young Professional Committee is hosting a Young Professional Leadership Workshop on May 8th, 2025 in Wrightsville Beach, NC. We are partnering with the Leadership and Management Division at their 2025 LMD Conference and are currently looking for speakers to present 10-15-minute-long presentations on topics like Bridging the Gap (leveraging generational differences, working with various workgroups, diversity, etc.), Technology Tips and Tricks, and Leadership as a Young Professional (organizational involvement, workplace culture, team building, leadership development, etc.). Presenters do not have to be an APWA member but do have to qualify as a young professional which is 35 years of age or younger. Presentations will be part of a “mini-series” session in which attendees from the LMD Conference and the YP Workshop will attend.
