The 2025 APWA-NC Solid Waste Division Conference will be held July 28-30, 2025 at the Beaufort Hotel in Beaufort, NC.
With the theme “Safety: Because ‘Oops’ is Not a Strategy,” this year’s conference emphasizes making safety a core part of every decision. Attendees will gain expert insights, practical strategies, and valuable resources to strengthen safety culture in Solid Waste operations. The event will also feature the 4th Annual Larry Weigman Memorial Golf Tournament, Annual Conference Bowling Tournament, the presentation of the Herman Drake and Dale James Awards, and plenty of opportunities to network with peers, colleagues, and vendors.
