The APWA-NC Young Professionals invites you to attend this one-day workshop for young professionals running parallel to the Leadership and Management Division (LMD) Conference. The workshop will be hosted at the Lumina Resort on Wrightsville Beach, NC on May 8th.

This workshop will provide networking opportunities within our Public Works industry as well as gain valuable insights from leaders from various organizations. Attendees to the workshop will have the opportunity to see Adam Core, an award winning, hilarious, expert speaker, talk about how to be a transformational communicator. At this workshop, you will be able to network with other young professionals from various municipalities and organizations in North Carolina and gain valuable leadership skills from the sessions that are lined up throughout the day, while earning 7.5 CEUs.

Anyone who registers for the YP Workshop has the option to attend the LMD Conference on Friday for free; the LMD Conference runs from 8 AM to Noon on Friday and offers an additional 4 CEUs. Attendees staying overnight can join the LMD Conference attendees at the Annual Past President's Dinner Thursday evening and Thursday night entertainment, hosted by the LMD Conference. Those attendees staying overnight can book their accommodations at the Lumina now by calling 1-910-256-2231 or 1-800-465-4329. Give "LMD" for the group code.
