The Equipment Services Division Board offers many “tools” for the “tool box” for Fleet Managers and Fleet Technicians. Tools offered are, technical training, factory tours, fleet tours, round table discussions and co hosting an annual conference with the Streets Division.
The Equipment Services Division continues to promote education, increased networking and relationship building of fleet managers throughout the state. No matter where you are located in the state, we all share experiences that are common to our everyday work environment. Not only are we Fleet Managers, but we also act as HR representatives, safety officers, procurement and budget analyst to name a few.
We are always looking for opportunities to provide training for fellow fleet managers, as well as, the technicians that keep our fleets up and running.
The Equipment Services Division:
- Co-hosts an annual conference with the Streets Division

- 2025 – Hickory – October 22-24
- 2026 – Cherokee – October 28-30
- Maintains a Fleet Managers List that provides valuable resources and information
- Holds annual Fleet Facility Tours & Manufacture Tours
- Offers awards for Fleet Manager of the Year and Fleet Technician of the Year
The Equipment Services Division held a tour for 34 attendees at Caterpillar INC in Clayton, NC on January 16th, 2025. We met with employees at Caterpillar who walked us through the plant to learn how much detail goes into building the Caterpillar Construction Equipment.
