This fast-paced training program is engaging, thought-provoking, and will give you powerful tools and skills you will be able to apply right away, both at work and at home.

The course will help you:

  • Learn to stay positive, productive, and effective, no matter what the circumstances.
  • Understand the difference between our knee-jerk reactions and intentional responses.
  • Exercise the option to choose deliberate responses, lead with values, and demonstrate personal excellence.
  • Evaluate the mindset that looks at setbacks as opportunities to bounce back and cultivate a spirit of resiliency.
  • Identify strategies to set others up for success with empathy and empowerment.
  • Avoid rescuing others or shielding them from the consequences of their actions which robs them of their opportunities to grow.
  • Discuss what accountability looks like and examine how to foster higher levels of accountability in the workplace.
  • Practice giving and receiving feedback based on a sense of care and respect for others.
  • Focus on our purpose, our organizational mission, and making work meaningful. This focus results in consistently making decisions that uphold the missions of our municipalities.

 

About the Instructor:

Daniel Lobb, CPTD is the principal trainer for TRP Enterprises, Inc., an internationally known training and development company. He has nearly two decades of experience in facilitation and learning programs.

“I’m a proud husband and father to three boys and work hard to keep a balance with work and family. I’m an instrument-rated pilot with several hundred hours of flight experience and cherish the privilege of flight. One of my greatest joys in life is connecting with others and discovering meaning in everyday events.” 

Daniel is active in his community in nonprofit and scouting work in the Piedmont of North Carolina.
