This self-paced eCourse provides the foundational concepts of stormwater management, ideal for those new to the field of stormwater including operator and maintenance staff, managers, and public works directors. The program will provide a basic understanding of common terminology, regulatory requirements and framework including MS4 requirements, and common challenges encountered within stormwater management.

After completing this course, participants will be better able to:

1. Identify the common stormwater problems and ways to address them. 

2. Describe the federal, state, and local regulatory framework, including MS4 permit compliance requirements. 

3. Explain the essential components of a stormwater management program.
